The Zinc Class is for a zinc die caster that is starting out (Young engineer, Process Tech, Operator). This is a must-have class. It would take them from a year of learning the process, alloys, tooling, trim operation to a day of learning and a year of application. The textbook is a great reference book for the zinc die-cast operations. The one-day course provides students with the basics of the various aspects of zinc and mini-zinc die casting and, where applicable, the diferences between aluminum and magnesium die casting are identified. The information in this course is targeted at production and non-production employees requiring an overview of zinc and/or mini zinc die casting.
